Being a couple that loves to hunt for great food, we slowly realised that ambience and service plays an important part for us to be returning customers. Here at DON HO, we love how they take the focus back to the simple pleasure of life – divine food, exceptional cocktails and hearty conversations. Don Ho features fusion dishes that blends influence from the east and west, with the menu being Australian fusion.
Dining in the lush greenery of DON HO’s stunning interior, it was a calming and relaxed atmosphere while sipping their refreshing summer smoothies; the Flamingo Paradise ($9) Summertime Passion ($9).
Avocado Smashed Bruschetta with Feta Cheese is a simple affair with tomato, feta cheese, basil, smashed avocado and bruschetta. ($18) + $4 for poached egg
One of the must try here is definitely the Sticky Beef Ribs ($32). Despite the hefty price tag, this is seriously one of the most luxurious cut and portion of beef that’s extremely tender! Slow cooked to perfection, the meat coated in sweet and sticky glaze falls off effortlessly and tastes delicious.
We spent our Saturday afternoon here and we enjoyed it. Lush, green, tropical – it felt amazing to be surrounded by such atmosphere. To us, it is so important to spend some time enjoying the company of the person you are dining with, to catch up and to just watch the world goes by. Don Ho not only is a great dining spot, but also a place where you can relax in the company of your loved ones.
