This cosy spot at CIMB Plaza serves up authentic Vietnamese street food, making it the perfect place for a satisfying meal. 🇻🇳✨

We kicked off with the Sweet & Sticky Chicken Wings and Fresh Prawn Rice Paper Rolls, followed by the flavourful Bún Thịt Nướng and a comforting bowl of MSG-free Phở - so light yet rich in taste. They also have rice dishes and tasty cocktails, making it a must-visit for any food lover! 🍜🥢

Some standout favourites - crispy Bi Feng Tang Lobster, rich & velvety Braised Cod in Golden Pumpkin Broth, and the delicate Duo Snow Stewed Bird’s Nest with Pear. A harmony of flavours and textures, bringing a touch of Cantonese elegance to afternoon tea. And the view? Absolutely stunning - we dined on Level 32! 🍵🩵

There’s something about a quiet, homely spot that makes a meal extra special. Tucked away in Hillview CC, Wang Family Kitchen serves comforting Korean meals at affordable prices—no GST, no service charge. The best part? Their set menu ($18.90) changes daily, so there’s always something new to try.

My family and I dropped by for a meal, and some of our favourites included:
🥢 Japchae – soft, chewy sweet potato glass noodles stir-fried with vegetables, lightly seasoned yet so satisfying.
🔥 Seasoned Fried Chicken (Yangnyeom-chicken) – crispy, golden-fried bites coated in a sweet, spicy glaze that hits all the right notes.
🌶️ Spicy Pork Stir-fry (Pork Bulgogi) – tender, thinly sliced pork stir-fried in a smoky, spicy-sweet gochujang sauce with onions and scallions—bold, flavorful, and perfect with rice.

We also had the Samgyetang (Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup) - $20.90, a comforting herbal broth with tender chicken, served with rice and six side dishes. Perfect for a rainy day. To end the meal, a simple but thoughtful touch—watermelon cubes and a chewy homemade waffle. Just the right amount of sweetness to wrap things up. Definitely a spot to bookmark if you’re in the area! 😊✨

The Seared Pork Chop with onion gravy was a dream - tender, juicy, and that gravy? Pure perfection! Paired with creamy penne pasta and sautéed mixed veggies - it was the ultimate comfort meal. As for the Fish & Chips, the beer-battered dory was crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. And those cajun fries? I couldn’t stop snacking on them! 🍟🐟

This year brought unexpected joys - from forging new friendships (who knew adult friendships could be so meaningful?) to finally ticking off a bucket list item: getting my diving certification! 🐠🌊

Travel may have been less frequent, but each journey was intentional and unforgettable. Climbing mountains and catching breathtaking sunrises in Chiang Mai 🌄, indulging in a foodie adventure in Ipoh 🍜 - every moment was truly cherished.

The biggest leap of all? Starting my master’s journey! Taking that step was daunting, but it has been such an enriching experience so far.

Here’s to embracing change, chasing dreams, and celebrating the little wins. Onward to an even brighter 2025! 💫

🎄✨ Festive vibes are in the air! Tried something new from @cedelesingapore this season, and it’s pure holiday magic.

The Tarragon Chicken Mushroom Quiche stole my heart with its creamy egg custard, tender chicken, and earthy forest mushrooms – the perfect cosy treat for this season. And the Assorted Chocolate Cookies? Perfect for sharing (or not 😉).

Indulging in these with a cup of hot chocolate was such a joy. What’s on your must-eat list this festive season? ❤️

Celebrated the festive vibes with my girls at Lola’s Café, and their Half Roast Chicken with Jus ($24) was an absolute star – juicy chicken, creamy truffle mash, caramelized maple miso brussels sprouts, and a burst of pomegranate sweetness. 🍗💫

We couldn’t resist exploring more of the menu too – the Spicy Crab Rigatoni ($20) and Tuscan Seafood Stew ($22) were packed with bold, comforting flavors that stole our hearts. 🦀🍝🦐
