Keep the spirit of Chinese New Year going with Miam Miam, a French-Japanese casual cafe kitchen!
Can’t get enough of Lo Hei yet? Try Miam Miam’s Tower of Wealth – with a Japanese spin to this traditional Chinese dish. With highlight ingredients including Japanese jellyfish, Japanese scallops, and seaweed, the trio brings together wonderful textures to present a perfect combination of sweet and savoury notes.
S$22.80 (Small) serves 2-3pax, S$38.80 (Big) serves 4-6pax
Miam Miam’s Tower of Wealth also includes other ingredients such as smoked salmon, crispy vegetable twirls, sweet pomelo and garden nuts. The star of this Lo Hei has to be the refreshing Ume sauce, made from a blend of sesame oil and spices. Talk about tossing to prosperity AND health! *wink*
Miam Miam is also ready to shower you with love for Valentine’s Day with their latest dessert, The Symphony of Love (S$18.80). If you are feeling tongue-tied to express your love, this dessert is adorned with letter biscuits to spell it out for you and your loved one.
The Symphony of Love features four pancakes in different flavours of vanilla, matcha, red velvet and chocolate that will definitely complete your meal on a sweet note!
Both of these newly launched items are available at their outlets and for take-away as well.
2017 is the Year of the Rooster, so no surprise that the popular protein choice is laced with Japanese influences. The Glazed Teriyaki Chicken Donburi (S$14.90) packed a substantial amount of carbs, accompanied with teriyaki chicken pieces, tofu, cucumber and pickles to balance out the savoury notes of this dish.
Miam Miam also offers their signature Soufflé De Nuage (S$16.90), a tomato baked rice topped with a lovely, soft-as-snow egg souffle. One of my favourites for the night!
The Mentaiko King Crab Aglio Olio (S$20.90) had a very decent portion size, with a sufficient amount of spaghetti. I felt there could have been a little bit more of the Mentaiko sauce to go around with the oodles of noodles but it is after all, not a cream pasta or an aglio olio-type dish. Recommended for sharing!
Do try out their refreshing Fruit Tea as well, available in both hot or cold options.
Head down to Miam Miam and try out these dishes for yourself!
