Lately I’ve been in a need of a fresh change of colours and rejuvenation for my hair, and have been putting it on hold for quite a while now. I’ve also been meaning to add something special to it!
So here’s presenting my latest hair transformation all done up at Envy Hair Salon!

I had the opportunity to visit Envy Hair and Nails, conveniently located within 5 minutes walking distance from Tanjong Pagar MRT. First impression of the place is a cozy, clean and comfortable environment, designed in soft shades and warm spotlights hanging down from the ceiling.
Their tables and comfortable leather seats are catered to customer’s needs, and the area feels homely!
My personal hairstylist- Des Chow
Taking care of the entire makeover process, I had the honour of being in the good hands of Desmond Chow, who is an award winning freelance hair stylist. He was awarded the SG Hairdressing Award Newcomer Of The Year in 2003 and in 2004 -Wella Trend Vision and has been in the hairdressing industry for over 14 years. Taking care of all aspects of the treatment, including washing, blowing and colouring, Desmond made me feel well at home from his likable nature. Before setting on the direction of my makeover, he examined my hair’s condition before making suitable recommendations that would suit the style and look I was going for. And I’m really happy to have heeded his advice!!
Presenting, my new hair, Ash Grey Foilayage Highlights with Beige Brown Base Color! The color used is Pravana Chromasilk and Pravana Vivids which contains Keratin and Amino Acids with low ammonia, causing minimal damage to the hair during the coloring process. As most of us would be concern about the treatment process, Envy Hair Salon ensures that the hair dye is locked in, while restoring and creating a permanent shine. The normal cost for the entire process is S$400, inclusive of a complimentary conditioning treatment and 3 times of foiled pre-bleaching.
I simply love the amazing results, and can’t thank Desmond for adding that beautifying touch!
