Nestled in the heart of Keong Saik Road, COVO promises a therapeutic hair experience in a comfortable semi-private area. Managed by a team of experienced Japanese hairstylists, COVO offers many kinds of treatments for every type of hair – from basic haircuts to colour treatments, rebonding, digital wave, and COVO signature’s treatment, the Goldwell Kerasilk Keratin Treatment.
I was greeted with such a cosy place which retained a sleek decor within their interior. I love the private seating areas which gave me my own personal space. I feel very relaxed when I stepped in and was all ready for my pampering session!
Yoshi was my hairstylist for the day. He was patient in listening to me and acceding to my requests. He was also very polite and I was enthralled by his service the moment I stepped in! After making sure everything was alright, he started bleaching my hair in order to get the desired colour for my highlight. Every single time before he walks away, he would tell me “Please wait for a moment” and that is the most professional mannerism I have ever experienced in a salon!
I then had my hair washed with carbonated water which assisted in the removal of extra oil and sebum that accumulates on my scalp. Other than removing dirt and chemicals from the hair, carbonated water also helps with the reconditioning of the cuticles and improving blood circulation of scalp.
After the deft application of Yoshi’s scissors and colouring of my hair, Yoshi went on to blowdry and style my hair to provide more voluminous and elegant curls which highlighted the ombre colour on my hair.
I definitely enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere, as well as the semi-private area where I could not stop snapping photos of myself while enjoying the whole experience. COVO is the perfect place to rest and relax on that special day off, weekends or even in the evenings after work.
