With the year of the dog upon us, it’s time to get sociable and get together with family and friends this Chinese New Year! If you’re looking for places to have your reunion dinner, here’s our top 15 places that will do it well.

6. Imperial Feast Restaurant


Rooted in Huaiyang and Cantonese cuisine and helmed by Gourmet Masterchef Wu Hai Feng, Chef Wu pays homage to the traditional Huaiyang cuisine, while adding in elements of Western cooking to appeal to international appetites at Imperial Feast Restaurant. The spread features 6 Guo Yan dishes at just $88++ per and currently running a 1-for-1 opening prom, available from 4th January 2018 – 9th February 2018 (strictly by reservations only). 7. Lotus Kitchen

For those looking for a vegetarian option, Lotus Kitchen has a specially created line-up of exquisite CNY Set Menus, as well as prosperous Pen Cai and Yu Sheng for a sumptuous festive feast! Choose from the beautiful set menus, which cater to 4 to 10 persons. The Lotus Vegetarian Prosperity Yu Sheng features a colourful abundance of over 30 ingredients like vegetarian salmon and fish slices made from konnyaku, as well as vegetarian ba kwa, lotus root slices, julienned apple and more. Lotus Kitchen also has a vegetarian Golden Bowl of Fortune Pen Cai, brimming with over 22 wholesome ingredients like premium vegetarian abalone, sugarcane shoots, bamboo pith, barley, wolfberries and many more.

8. LOCAL Restaurant & Bar – 30 Bencoolen

Newly launched LOCAL Restaurant & Bar at re-branded hotel 30 Bencoolen is all set for their inaugural CNY menu – featuring traditional festive classics with a creative twist. Dishes include the 30 Bencoolen “Sure HUAT” Yu Sheng with smoked Norwegian salmon set in tomato liquid jelly and molded as koi fish at $39.80++ (6 persons) $69.80++ (10 persons).

Other star dishes helmed by Chef Elvin Chew include Special Stuffed Whole Suckling Pig (Boneless), 8 Hours Braised Angus Beef Cheek in Crispy Yam Ring ($69.80++) and Drunken “Master” Tiger Prawn Linguine ($32.80++, 6 pax). Lunar New Year Festive Dishes available from 22 January to 2 March 2018.

9. Nadai Fujisoba

Come toss to good health and prosperity with Singapore’s First-ever Soba Yusheng at Nadai Fujisoba. Touted as Japan’s number one soba restaurant, their rendition of the traditional yu sheng is served with cold and fried soba noodles, and features a generous medley of salmon, seasoned octopus, seaweed and jelly fish, crabstick strips, shredded egg and tobiko for a savoury note.
