Healthy and fun rarely goes together in food but that is now possible with the arrival of America’s favourite froyo, Yogurtland!
Yogurtland keeps on-trend with their ever changing flavours for you to choose from to let your creative juices flow! Customise your cup with your choice of yogurt flavour or if you are spoilt for choice, head for the middle dispenser which is a mix of 2 flavours!
Out of the many flavours available that day which included flavours such as Alphonso Mango Tart inspired from India, Salted Caramel Pecan made with real pecans, Sumatra Coffee Blend and Dutch Chocolate made with Ghirardelli chocolate , my favourite was the Plain Tart and Dutch Chocolate. I preferred a plain base for my yogurt to so I can go crazy with my toppings. You will understand why when you see the options available!
My creation included a swirl of Plain Tart, mostly fruit toppings (strawberries, kiwi, grapes), a sprinkle of cornflakes and semi-sweet chocolates topped off with a touch of dragees gold (because a little bit of shimmer never hurt anyone).
Oh and if you’re wondering, Yogurtland charges by weight at a reasonable $3 per 100g so you are free to control your portioning. To give you an idea, my creation weighed 280g which works out to be less than $9 for a very healthy (and filling) snack! I actually had this instead of my usual dinner and wasn’t hungry afterwards!
A little birdy also told me that a Durian flavour is in the pipelines for Yogurtland Singapore and I’m keeping my eyes peeled for that!
