The rooms are divided into four categories of Deluxe, Premier, Junior and Executive, and its value for money certainly holds true from the moment you step into their guest rooms.

A sanctuary you won’t ever feel like leaving, the Deluxe room holds a romantic vibe that will surely enrich your relaxation experience. An added simulation of an artificial grass carpet at the foot of the king-sized bed creates the feeling of having nature in close distance, while giving out a calming effect. Most of our time was spent lazing around this area, as the synthetic material felt really good to sit or step on!
The Deluxe room is well-equipped with a 40-inch Smart TV with cable television and international satellite channels with free Wi-Fi internet access, alongside the usual frills of an in-room safety deposit box, mini fridge, coffee and tea making facilities. There’s also a spacious work desk with a super comfortable couch area. And there’s no need to bring your travel plug adapter as the room is fitted with at least 5 plug outlets of the Type G 3-pin plug.

Some of our favourite places to eat include the Village Café & Resto (level 2) – where breakfast is usually served at. Look forward to delectable local and international cuisine and scrumptious daily international buffet breakfast spread with live cooking stations each morning! We tried some of their signature dishes – Ayam Bakar and Nasi Goreng. The Ayam Bakar was impeccable and we enjoyed how it was authentically prepared in the Indonesian style, grilled chicken coated with sweet and spicy sauce!

Bar7 Rooftop Bar & Grill (level 7) is a great place to unwind in the evening. Savour in seafood items while sipping on signature cocktails. The restaurant has both an alfresco and indoor dining to suit the mood.

4. Rooftop infinity pool with a scenic ocean view
A place to unwind and relax after a long day of activities? The infinity pool up on the rooftop has got you covered. A great amenity no matter the destination, the pool is a little oasis for many of us, plus the added view of a breath-taking skyline.

What we love about this rooftop infinity pool was watching the clouds zoom by and yet not a touch of landscape/nature is changed.
5. Go paddle boating and fishing along Lake Lagoi
Surrounded by sweeping bay views, lush tropical greenery, and a stunning fresh-water fishing lake, the resort also has an array of facilities and activities to keep you occupied all through your stay.
Choose from various land and sea activities including kayaking, fishing, cycling, paddle boating, buggy rides, segway and even take a ride on an odong-odong (a miniature cycling car adorned with lights and music).

Experience an extensive range of recreational and sporting activities at Crystal Lagoon: such as wake-boarding, jetovator, slip & slide, aqua glide sailboat, wake park, water sports park, ATV off-road trail and many more.
We tried the Classic Car tour – which is a 15 minute tour around Crystal Lagoon, and later hopped onto a little more adventurous terrain with the ATV off-road trail! It was truly an exciting experience unlike any other, going up and down through a private jungle trail and feeling the adrenaline and roaring engines. Attire recommendation – definitely more sporty, covered shoes and bring a small towel to wipe the sweat and mud off (just in case)! Check out the rest of the other activities to do here.

7. Lagoi Bay Lantern Park is Now Open!
Just a short walking distance from the property, you’ll come across a giant-sized word of ‘Lagoi Bay’. This place makes for a very ideal photo opportunity, and is one of the landmark shots you have to take!

Across from that is Lagoi Bay’s first ever Lantern Park, which comes alive at night! Covering an area of 4,000 square metres with a trail of 300 metres, the Lagoi Bay Lantern Park is themed after an ‘Underwater World’ experience.

Enjoy a larger than life lantern display of marine creatures and endangered land species and uncover 21 different kinds of colourful animal replicas. Overall, we love every single moment of our time staying here at Village Resort Grand Lagoi Bintan. The resort has so much to offer – from food, amenities, activities – you name it!
