This year I’ve had such a great opportunity and pleasure to be sponsored by several bakeries for my birthday! Thank you to all the bakeries that collaborated with me, and in taking on a special role in adding that ‘sweet’ touch to my celebration. Your immense passion, dedication and hardwork is truly seen in the designs and quality of your bakes. Thank you once again and I appreciate all that you’ve shared in making my party a memorable one.
Let’s get into the first dessert… specially prepared by All The Batter! Whisking their batter with a spoonful of surprise, treats from All the Batter are baked with the most delectable ingredients, and also handcrafted with passion and love. They aim to bring you the taste of joy that makes you happy!
This is so beautifully crafted and definitely a visual treat for the eyes. The Batter Bouquet is their trademark recreation of bouquets and cupcakes inspired by the annual gift giving of flowers on Valentine’s Day, replacing the conventional flower bouquets with a refreshing treat. I found this to be extremely unique, and would strongly recommend this to those who are out of ideas for Valentine’s Day gifts! Here you can see the bouquet beautifully decorated with 10 of their White Chocolate Velvets. From what I’ve gathered from the bakers, soy milk is used to bring out the wholesome flavor and zero whipped cream is used in their frosting! I love the chewy white chocolate centre, it was a sweet and tasty delight.
This was good but a bit too sweet for me. However, I love the crispy-crusted meringue and the big chunks of chocolate chips hidden in the centre. Their cupcakes are beautifully decorated, and I’ll recommend you to try some of their other specialties which are the Flavour Series, Sugar Canes, and their two new series which are launching soon – Dessert Series, and Souffle Series.
Their bouquets and cakes are delivered in cute designer boxes which are environmentally friendly. Think about saving the world and having some sweets treats at the same time!
Visit them at their online bakery at www.allthebatter.com and follow them on Facebook (www.facebook.com/AllTheBatter) and Instagram @allthebatter for regular promotions such as ‘Flavour of the month’, ‘Giveaways’ and other discounts and vouchers for your purchase!

Next up, treats from Bake My Day, an online bakery store that specializes in macarons and sugar cookies.
These macarons were specially designed for my birthday and they perfectly complemented the theme of my party, which is ‘Candylicious’. A big applaud to Bake My Day for the effort, they were so adorable and I love them very much. Not only did they look beautiful, these macarons stood out for their crisp marble-smooth shells and they tasted delicious! If I had to choose, my favourite would be the Nutella-flavoured macarons, which had a rich nutty flavour and an appropriate level of moistness which melts in our mouths.
Bake My Day also customizes other types of macaron designs such as Hello Kitty, Minions and Chanel. I would recommend you to share with them some of your design ideas for your events, as they did a great job for mine.
I recently requested for Totoro-inspired macarons for my sister’s birthday. They had no prior experience making macarons of this design and when I saw how they turned out, I was in awe. They were so cute and I could not bear to eat them!!! It was love at first sight for my sister (quoted from my sister herself), and she was delighted when she received them.

My third sponsor, Eribakes bakes beautiful macarons and they are in such sweet, pastel colours! Created by two dessert enthusiasts Eriko and Jenny, they aim to create preservative-free hand-crafted bakes using the finest ingredients, less sugar and colourings.
Eribakes also have a variety of other flavours for their macarons where they pair ingredients such as Pandan and Gula Melaka, Cinnamon and Brown Sugar to create these unique and pretty macarons.
Moving on further into our dessert table, we see some delectable looking cakes made by Little Vanilla! Brought about by her love for baking ever since she was a little girl, her immense passion for it grew as she learnt and fell in love with the entire baking process in perfecting her cake and confectionery designs.
The owner of Little Vanilla, Didie, enjoys sharing her creations and designing her cakes for all to see. These delectable rainbow cakes are so visually appealing and pretty looking, it’s no wonder they are one of their best sellers. They are moist but a bit too sweet for my liking.
Visit Little Vanilla on their website at http://littlevanilla.wix.com/littlehome and follow their Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/dearlittlevanilla) and Instagram @littlevanillasg for more news and special offers. They provide birthday cakes and even party decor!
