Specially created for this Chinese New Year, Bakerzin has launched three brand new pineapple tart flavours alongside their best-selling Classic Yuan Bao Pineapple Tarts. Our favourite is the chrysanthemum flavor, light without overpowering the sweetness from the pineapple paste.
Started from a family line of bakers from Malaysia, CNYdelivery has stood the test of time with classic recipes passed down through generations. Founded in 1970s, CNYdelivery was first known for its homemade Muah Chee, before they transitioned to baking cookies. Eventually, the younger generations sought to embrace the founder’s work and brought it into Singapore for customers here to enjoy. Some of their popular ones to try include their unique peanut butter filling Love Letters (花生鸡蛋卷) ($15.50) and Cuttlefish Snack (鱿鱼紫菜片) ($17.90). The Love Letters is loaded with the peanut butter filling that oozes such a strong and tempting aroma, yet not too much that it doesn’t feel jelat. Free delivery with purchases above $100.

With the salted egg yolk still making its rounds, these yummy cookies from WHISKED are showing what they’re made off! Specially handcrafted by a passionate, self-taught baker Geraldine who grew up baking since she was in primary school, these cookies are handmade to perfection from real salted egg yolk, mashed and mixed with curry leaves for a stronger flavour. These small bites of salted egg yolk cookies ($28 – approximately 25-28 pieces per box) are pretty addictive, definitely worth a try.
